Education Requirements: Engineering degree or the equivalent military / vocational certifications.

 

Months/Years of Experience: Ten (10) years of test experience or equivalent vocational / military certifications.  One year of experience in management.  Alternatively, fourteen (14) years of experience with a combination of vocational/military certifications.

 

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship.  Must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance.  Experience in/expertise with writing and coordinating the Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) for Department of Defense (DoD) Product or Project Offices.  Must be able to link the technical capability of the program, technical risks and costs to overall program goals and schedule.  Must have previous TEMP experience to ensure key system/component/subsystem performance capabilities are incorporated and demonstrated in the TEMP to include input from Design of Experiments (DOEs) and the Developmental Evaluation Framework (DEF).  Must have good communication / briefing skills to confirm to key stakeholders and Project leadership.

 

Individual should be pro-active and independent in writing and coordination, yet willing and capable to work as a team member as part of the larger organization, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups (WGs) with Department of the Army and DoD Test Agencies.

 

Duties: Write and coordinate the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) for Department of Defense (DoD) Product or Project Offices.

 

Desired Qualifications: Program Office test experience with a good understanding of how the test / engineering process relates to the program/ acquisition process.  Understanding of the systems engineering process to review requirements allocation and traceability.

 

Comments: 5% travel to selected CONUS and OCONUS location is possible.
